You’ll Be Stopping for Gas Much Less in the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

December 1st, 2016 by

We already know the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is the top minivan when it cames to fuel economy. But now the EPA has released its official test numbers for the Pacifica Hybrid, the only hybrid in this class, and they’re looking pretty nice.

We already thought the anticipated 80 MPGe from Chrysler was an amazing MPGe. But the official number from the EPA is an Astonishing 84 MPGe!

As for the conventional rating, which is a combined city/highway, the Pacifica Hybrid will come in at 32 MPG. This represents the hybrid working as normal, and not in the rarely used EV-only mode. But that 32 MPG is nothing to be ashamed of, its an improvement of almost 10 MPG over the combined ratings of the top three conventional minivans, including the non-hybrid Pacifica.

The EPA rated the total EV-only range as 33 miles, and the overall combined range at a jaw-dropping 566 miles. And that’s from a fuel tank that’s only 17 gallons (compared to the 19-gallon tank in the conventional Pacifica, which gets a 418-mile range).

While you can’t get behind the wheel of the Pacifica Hybrid just yet, we invite you to stop by our showroom to speak with a member of our team! Conveniently located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, we look forward to welcoming you to our dealership soon!
